There is no time limitation on sales of IE1 motors produced before the EuP Directive implementation date (16th June 2011) and equipped with CE Mark in the European Union.

Motors produced after the EuP Directive implementation date (16th June 2011) will not be equipped with CE Mark and can be sold in the outside of the European Union only.

. Small motors (below 0.75kW) and large motors (above 375kW) are exempt from the EuP Directive and are equipped with CE mark for sale in the European Union.
